According to rumours, Tom Cruise will star in Bethesda's forthcoming game, Starfield
Could Bethesda be enlisting the help of some big-name Hollywood names for their upcoming RPG? According to a recent Starfield rumour, none other than Hollywood heavyweight Tom Cruise will star in the game.
On the Gaming Leaks and Rumors subreddit earlier today, on May 18, a puzzling rumour began to circulate. A rumour that Hollywood actor Tom Cruise was starring in Bethesda's new space-faring game was buried among a collection of prior Starfield claims.
Certainly, it's a claim that raises a lot of eyebrows. So far, we've read a lot of claims about Bethesda's future game, including when it'll be released and how it'll be released.
We don't know when Bethesda plans to release Starfield or on which platforms it will be released. Following Microsoft's massive acquisition of Bethesda last year, PlayStation boss Jim Ryan admitted that he had no idea if the space-faring RPG would be arriving to PlayStation platforms in September 2020.
According to Xbox head Phil Spencer, Bethesda will operate "semi-independently" from its new owner, and Xbox will honour previous exclusivity deals for Bethesda games like as Deathloop.
