‘Elden Ring' now has a Steam page, as well as fresh gameplay details

Elden Ring now has its own Steam page, thanks to FromSoftware and Bandai Namco. The highly anticipated action RPG now has a Steam profile, allowing fans to wishlist the game on the digital marketplace.

Typically, future games will have a Steam page launched alongside the first announcement, so this is a late but good move from the publisher.

It also includes the four bullet points below, which summarise what gamers should expect. Elden Ring will offer “a gigantic environment where open areas with a variety of circumstances and huge dungeons with intricate and three-dimensional architecture are harmoniously connected” as an open world take on the Souls formula.

It also confirms online multiplayer, “where you can directly connect with other players and travel together,” as well as “a unique asynchronous online element that allows you to feel the presence of others,” both of which seem to harken back to previous FromSoftware titles' summoning co-op and player phantoms.

For January 20, 2022, Elden Ring will be released on PC, PlayStation and Xbox.
