Epic is giving away 15 free games during its holiday sale, and the first is Shenmue III

Epic Games' annual Christmas sale has begun, and in addition to offering some great discounts on a variety of titles, the firm is also giving away 15 games for free. The Epic Coupon, which gives you $10 off games that cost more than $14.99, is also returning.

The first freebie is Shenmue III, which started off as a tremendously successful Kickstarter project. Epic representative Nick Chester declined to comment on what games are coming next, so you'll have to check the store every day to see what Epic has to offer.

You'll want to keep the Epic Coupon in mind as you browse the store. It provides you a $10 discount on any game that costs more than $14.99, and there's no limit to how many games you can use it on, so go ahead and fill your cart. The sale will end at 11 a.m. ET on January 6th.

Epic has also begun its annual holiday promotion in Fortnite, during which players may earn free items.
