Insomniac Games celebrates the release of the No Way Home trailer

Marvel's Spider-Man developer Insomniac Games has resorted to social media to celebrate the release of the second and final Spider-Man: No Way Home teaser. The highly anticipated Spider-Man teaser reveals the return of several Spider-Man villains, including Willem Dafoe's Green Goblin and Jamie Foxx's Electro, prompting anticipation that Spider-Man alums Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield might also return. The trailer's debut was a big deal, with Sony Pictures even arranging a Los Angeles fan event.

With the release of the No Way Home trailer and Spider-appearance Man's in Crystal Dynamics' Marvel's Avengers on November 30, November is building up to be a major month for Marvel's famous hero. The film's tickets will go on sale the same day, prompting Sony to dubbed November 30 "Spider-Monday." Spidey will be fully playable with his own cutscenes and storey quest when he joins Earth's Mightiest Heroes, even though Marvel's Avengers' Spider-Man is a PlayStation-exclusive hero.

Insomniac Games, the creators of Marvel's Spider-Man and Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales, voiced their delight for the Spider-Man: No Way Home teaser several times after it debuted on November 17. Even though Insomniac's games are separate releases unrelated to the films, the company has previously paid homage to the MCU rendition of the wall-crawler, and this time is no exception. "LET'S GO," Insomniac commented, retweeting the trailer before diving into the comments to share the joy with fans. When asked if the developer was excited by a Twitter user, the official account replied, "Heck yeah," while answering to another with a gif from Breaking Bad.

Needless to say, Insomniac has a soft spot for the character, with Marvel's Spider-Man including costumes from not only the MCU version of the character, but also the Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield movies. Insomniac Games is presently working on Marvel's Spider-Man 2, which will feature Venom and Kraven the Hunter as the main antagonists. There's not much else known about the game outside the fact that it'll be released on PS5 in 2023, but there will be plenty of Spider-Man material in the meanwhile. Spider-Man: No Way Home is set to hit theatres in December, and Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse 2 is set to hit theatres in October 2022.

Time there's a chance that Peter Parker will feature in upcoming Marvel films, Insomniac's version of the character won't be making any major appearances for a while. The character currently existing in his own reality and does not appear to have any plans to interact with characters created by the creator. There's always the Marvel's Avengers' Spider-Man event this month for those who own the game on PlayStation until more word from Insomniac arrives. It's unclear whether the hero will play a major role in the future of Marvel's Avengers, but if not, there aren't any known games in which the web-slinger may appear before 2023.
