This fall, the farming life simulator will be available on Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass.
Eric Barone, the creator of Stardrew Valley, has revealed that his farm life simulator will be available on Game Pass. "There isn't a firm release date yet," Barone said, "but it will most likely be in the fall."
Stardew Valley debuted on Steam in 2016 and has subsequently expanded to consoles and mobile devices. It's an easy buy at $15 (and regularly on sale) as one of the best PC games.
Microsoft's Game Pass has apparently reached 22 million users as of April, thus there are at least 12 million individuals who haven't yet played Stardew. And using Game Pass to entice friends to play Stardew's co-op mode, which allows four players to share ownership of a single farm, is a great concept.
Barone has remained busy working on Stardew Valley for the past five years. The current 1.5 upgrade adds a slew of new features and an enlarged endgame, as we reported in early 2021. Barone also collaborated on the Stardew Valley board game, which is presently out of stock. Hopefully, by the time Stardew arrives on Game Pass later this year, it will be back in stock.
